Absolutely, and the gutting of NASA was a direct blow to Houston's economy. Oil put Houston on the map, economically and culturally, but NASA brought diversity and exploration of a different kind. My father was neighbors and friends with Alan Sheperd. Could you imagine any other President but O'blame-a being so complacent about Houston being denied one the space shuttles placed there in retirement?

Thanks, NASA was once a program of pride for America, sadly it has become a mouthpiece for government propaganda as of late.
